P.E. Uniform

On P.E./after school sports clubs days, pupils can come to school in their PE kits. If they are wearing T-shirt and shorts, these may be worn under uniform or alternatively they may wear their black PE tracksuits.

We want to spend more time on actual PE and significantly reduce the time changing; this will also take any anxiety away for those pupils who feel uncomfortable about changing in school.

Branded Uniform and Pre-loved Uniform

At Birchills we do not expect any of our children to wear branded uniform and therefore we have no suggested retailer for uniform supplies. 

In our main entrance we have a regularly replenished stock of pre-loved uniform which is available all year round for all pupils. Clothes are checked, washed and ready to collect at the convinience of parents and carers. We also appreciate any donations of outgrown uniform to help replenish our pre-loved stock.
